New and Improved Florida Trail Hiking Maps
Based on your feedback, we’ve made major changes to the format of the Florida Trail hiking maps this season. While pricing is not yet determined (watch for an update), we think you will be pleased with the changes. Here are the highlights:
- Full color
- All maps 11″x17″, folded in ninths
- Water-resistant paper
- Maps printed on front and back (two sections per thru-trail, three or four loops per loop trails)
- Background shows topography for a 3D effect
- Sold individually
- Special pricing for a full set of maps
- Land management rules and regulations on maps
- Mileage between points indicated on maps
- Same symbol set (water, parking, scenic, historic, etc) on maps
- Separate DATA BOOK for more detailed descriptions and mileages
The new maps will be available for purchase on or before October 1, 2006. Meanwhile, pick up big bargains on our remaining stock of 2005-2006 maps at the Orange Blaze Mercantile!
