Come and be a part of history as we build the longest free-spanning bridge on the entire Florida Trail. Construction of the 80-foot Monkey Creek Bridge will soon begin. Join us for this momentous occasion as we reopen a beautiful section of trail along near the Sopchoppy River in the Apalachicola National Forest. Learn how to set up and operate a cable rigging system during the 2 day training workshop on November 11th & 12th. Then use your new rigging skills to lift large heavy sections of the bridge into place. There will be a primitive back-country group campsite set up near the bridge.
