Be a Pathfinder!

Members of the media who actively cover the Florida Trail and/or hiking-related topics in Florida are honored each year by the Florida Trail Association with the Pathfinder Award, presented at the Florida Trail Annual Conference and publicized thereafter.

Recent recipients include:

2007: Mike DeWitt, Outdoor Columnist, The Tampa Tribune
2006: Mike Crane, VP Programming, WMFE-TV, Orlando
2005: Lucy Tobias, Columnist “Great Walks with Lucy”, Ocala Star Banner

To be eligible for this award, send your clips or footage to the Florida Trail Association, 5415 SW 13th St, Gainesville FL 32608. Awards are finalized in early March of each year.
