The eighty foot suspension bridge came in pre-fab sections that had to be fitted together. From the side, the trusses looked a heck of a lot like a giant playpen.

Two volunteers chip bark off a pine tree felled for a spar pole for the rigging required to lift the pre-built bridge into place over Monkey Creek. The one not looking at the camera is our own Judd Goodlin, GIS Analyst in the Tallahassee office, who spent his weekend on F-Troop.
